Bone Broth Recipe
This recipe makes approximately 64 ounces of broth depending on how much water you use, how much you reduce the broth, and how strong you want the flavor to be.
- 4 quarts of filtered water
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar (organic, unfiltered, recommended: Bragg’s brand)
- 1.5 - 2 lbs. of beef knuckle bones or marrow bones (or any other kinds of bones – especially oxtail, which lends added gelatin and a delicious flavor). Chicken necks are inexpensive and also work great.
Directions:
- Allow Apple Cider Vinegar to sit on bones for 5-10 minutes.
- Slow cook for 4-6 hours.
- Add 2 more Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (organic, unfiltered, recommended: Bragg’s brand) once cooled.
