Yes! Pets can benefit from an ionic detox footbath. It is especially good for those pets suffering from GI disorders, skin conditions, fungal or yeast infections, and cancer. The benefit of this form of detox is it is gentle and safe, and not compromising because it bypasses the gastro-intestinal system. The detox also works well when accompanied with acupuncture, to stimulate blood flow, in treating peripheral neuropathy, liver, kidney disease and cancers. It’s important to aid in your pet’s body in the alkalizing process. Other scientifically measured effects of this detox, besides alkalization, are lower blood sugar levels and lower cholesterol levels.

Ionic Cleansing Process

Ionic cleansing utilizes a footbath apparatus that includes a bowl you fill with saltwater and electrodes contained inside that delivers a low-level electric current during treatment. The animal’s front paws are placed in the footbath for around 20 minutes. The water in the bowl eventually turns the color of rust or another color and develops a marked sludge on top. Those pets being treated believe the water changes color because of the toxins being released through their feet. The detox continues to alkalize the body up to 48 hours after the treatment, via urination, which is an added benefit.

The Ionic footbath creates an ionization osmosis environment running negative ions through the body pulling & attracting the positively charged impurities, heavy metals, etc. exit out through the feet in to the saline charged solution in the bath. The energized ionized water runs through the body bringing the body's chi & meridians back in to balance where one might feel energized & relaxed. Impurities are pulled from the body, improving the body's natural resilience. There is a noticeable change in the water color during the session where you are actually seeing cellular waste & oxidation present in the water. The energy fields are stronger, strengthening the body's immune system. Your pet will feel revitalized, lighter feeling, balanced, and healthy.
