How to Bathe Your Pets

Nobody likes dealing with a smelly dog or a dirty cat. Pet hygiene is just as important for their well-being as a nutritious diet.

Some tips on pet bathing:

  1. Brush out pet first to get rid of mats and help calm pet down.
  2. Make sure pet has a stable nonslip surface to stand on and check water temperature.
  3. Protect pets’ eyes and ears. Trim nails and clean ears prior to bath.
  4. Select a pet approved safe shampoo, and conditioner. Wet coat completely before and after bathing, rinse well, towel off. (can use slightly warmed towels from the dryer).
  5. Ozone bathing is amazing! Inquire about purchasing an ozone bath to help sanitize your pets skin naturally and help with allergies. Household water purifier or small animal friendly

1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup Baking Soda
2 tbsp Dish Detergent
